IBS Mumbai was established in 1995 to promote quality management education, research, training and consulting. Since its establishment in 1995, IBS has grown impressively and achieved widespread recognition from business and industry, academic circles, and professional bodies. Placements:  For the batch passing in 2017  the average CTC was Rs 6.25 Lakhs the same for 2018 and 2019 were Rs 6.29 Lakhs and Rs. 6.44 Lakhs respectively. The average CTC offered to the top 10% in 2019 was 9.70 Lakhs. The Highest salary offered at IBS Mumbai in 2019 was Rs. 16.20 Lakhs.

Admission Process: ICFAI conducts its own entrance examination called IBSAT. Aspirants are required to appear in ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT 2019) to secure admission to an MBA program. CAT/ GMAT and NMAT by GMAC qualified candidates are also eligible to apply. The final selection is based on the past academic record, performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
