Section 1: Quantitative Ability

No. of Questions: 40

This section was more or less like last year’s section. Questions ranged from topics like Percentage & its application, Numbers & its application, Ratio & its application, Time & Work, Time-Speed-Distance and Mixture. Once again, Permutation and Combination and Geometry had a negligible share of the section. There were three sets in Data Interpretation containing 12 questions in total. All of them were easy to be solved. Overall thesection can be classified as Easy to moderate. A well prepared student would have attempted 33+ questions, genuinely, by spending 40 minutes and with 80% accuracy.Good score in this section could be 28+.

Section 2:General English

No. of Questions:40

This section was dominated by Vocabulary based questions. Type of questions ranged from conventional areas of vocabulary like Synonyms, Antonyms and Analogies to finding odd word out. Around 20 questions were either directly or indirectly based on vocabulary. It is worth noting that many of them were difficult to answer which should decrease the good score of this section. There were 3 questions on finding the correct spelling of given word too. There were two passages in Reading Comprehension portion each of them with 5 questions each. Both of them were easy for students to solve. Overall thesection can be classified as moderate. As there was good number of questions based on vocabulary, overall time spent could not have been more than 30 minutes. Student, who has good command over vocabulary, would have attempted 35+ questions with 75% accuracy.Good score in this section could be 26+.

 Section 3:Analytical and Logical Reasoning

No. of Questions:30

This section had questions from all conventional parts of reasoning. This year again, standard questions on puzzles and arrangement were just 4. Topics like Coding, Direction sense, Blood relation were evenly distributed. 5 questions of series were also present in the section. There were approximately 6 questions based on Sentence Assumption, Sentence Conclusion and Sentence Assertion. Overall, thesection can be considered Easy to Moderate. Student with good reasoning skills could have attempted 27+ questions in 30 Minutes. Good score in this section could be 24+

Section 4:General Awareness

No. of Questions:40

GK section this year was on expected lines. Current affairs questions were less. Questions were mainly asked from Books and Authors, Sports, Awards and General Science. Few of the questions like “Kala Ghoda Festival” and “Author of God father” were tricky. Very few questions of Economics would have disappointed majority of students. Overall, this section was Moderate. Student could have easily attempted 30+ questions in 15 minutes. Good Score should be 22+

Note: As there was no negative marking, lot of students would have attempted all questions. The suggested good attempt and good score are the net genuine attempts.
