Mock Placement Drive was recently conducted for the 4th year students of St. John Engineering College. Students from different specialisations i.e. Computers, IT, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical and others participated in this drive. The process started with Kunal Bagaya addressing the students about Endeavor Careers and giving a brief introduction about how the placement drive will be conducted. The process started with an hour of aptitude test comprising questions on both, aptitude and technical aspects. After completion of the aptitude test, depending on the scores, the students were shortlisted and taken to the next round of Group Discussion. Many students who were experiencing group discussion for the very first time learnt a lot from this process. Every group discussion was followed by a small feedback session where the panellists shared their views on the group’s performance in the process. Considering the students’ content, communication skills and attitude as major criteria, 30 students were shortlisted from Group Discussion and taken for the Personal Interview Round. As the name suggests, students underwent a rigorous interview session wherein they were assessed from technical and non-technical aspects both. After completion of the Personal Interview round, panellists took the decision depending on the student’s Aptitude Test score, Group Discussion scores and Personal Interview round and declared top 3 students as the winners of the Mock Placement Drive.
